Along with most music teachers, I have had to adapt to giving lessons online.

I've found that it has been very enjoyable and, with a good wi-fi connection, a lot of good and detailed work can be done.

A little about myself

I have been a professional player for almost thirty years and am currently the oboist in Les Misérables in London (Featured in the staged concert version and recording) and Glyndebourne Opera on Tour.

I often play as a guest with other London orchestras and also enjoy solo and chamber music.

I teach oboe at Magdalen College School, Oxford and Stowe School and I have given classes at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music.

I had some wonderful teachers myself (see below) who all offered their own totally different approach and perspective and I try to pass on as much of this as I can in my own teaching.
